Ormond Beach offers a wide variety of fun things to do, but here are some popular attractions that you simply have to make time for.
The Loop is a 45-minute scenic drive through Ormond Beach’s picturesque marshes and tree canopies. It’s a little off the beaten path, so it’s perfect if you and your family are seeking a quiet escape. Take your time to enjoy the stunning views of the river. If you like to fish, you can even pull over for awhile to cast your line.
Andy Romano Beachfront Park
You’re already vacationing in a resort area, but when you walk into Andy Romano Beachfront Park, you’ll feel like you stepped into a postcard. Newly constructed, the 4-acre park features pavilions, splash pads, a playground, and, most importantly, breath-taking views of the beach.
You’ll feel like royalty as you walk through the mansion that belonged to John D. Rockefeller. Rockefeller was the richest man in the world when he purchased The Casements in 1918. Take a 30-minute tour through his impressive home, and be sure to check out the photography exhibit where you’ll see exactly how it looked in Rockefeller’s day.
The Venue at DB’s
If you are looking to host a wedding or family reunion, finding an event venue in Ormond Beach isn’t hard. Venues like this offer bars and dining halls for dinner parties, as well as open space for dancing and parties. For fresh air, there are also options for hosting events in the garden. With everything the town has to offer, there is something for everyone.
Ormond Memorial Art Museum
For a laid-back and enjoyable afternoon, check out the Ormond Memorial Art Museum. Not only will you be impressed by the stunning art displays, you can also relax, and enjoy lunch together in the beautiful shaded garden area. There’s also a pond and a waterfall that you can sit by as you discuss which exhibits were your favorites.
Tomoka State Park
If you love nature, you’ll feel perfectly at home at Tomoka State Park. Whether you’re hiking, camping, or simply taking a short stroll, you’ll love how rustic and untouched the scenery is. Be sure to notice the wild Indigo plants and grapes that can be found all along the trails.
Pirate Cove’s Adventure Golf
If you or your kids love miniature golf, take time out of the day to stop at Pirate Cove’s Adventure Golf. Featuring an 18-hole course and fun themes right out of a storybook, your whole family will have a blast showing off their putt-putt skills.
