Al Azhar Park of Egypt
The Al-Azhar Park is important for tourists to Egypt because this hilly site is surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo. This is one of the primary destinations for many visitors to the city, and this new park located in its heart provides many advantages, including a wonderful view of the surrounding area.

As one of the most beautiful parks in the world. Al Azhar Gardens remains a landmark of the city of Cairo, where you can catch a panoramic view of the old city, and it’s spectacular minarets.
From Al Azhar Gardens you can easily spot the “Mohamed Ali” famous and historic citadel or look the other side at the well known Cairo Tower “the highest building in Cairo”, from the park you can also clearly see parts of the great walls of Cairo that were built hundreds of years ago to keep the city safe from invaders or you could lay back and enjoy the greenery and the beautiful lake and small fountains in the park.
Al Azhar Gardens is famous for strange and rare plants from all around the world Behind you is the great Mokattam plateau with its spectacular colours that change with the angle of the sun, and the sunset from the park is something you should not miss, also if you like photography, landscaping, and painting like me, then Al Azhar Gardens is the place to go. The Telescope area is on top of the highest hill in the park, It’s called by that name because from there you can see the entire city of Cairo, at night enjoy the dazzling lights of the minarets, or take a brake at one of the coffee shops or restaurants beside the calm lake in the park. If I was inviting a friend to a picnic, I could not find a more spectacular place to go, Hope to see you there soon.
