Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

1, Ferrari World:
Ferrari World is an amusement park located on the Yas Island of Abu Dhabi. It is the world’s largest indoor amusement park situated under a roof of 200,000 square meters. It was opened for tourists in November, 2010. Formula Rossa, the faster roller coaster in the world, is located here. Other attractions include another roller-coaster named Fiorano GT Challenge, a theater called Cinema Maranello and Driving with Challenge, a 3-D show that showcases the technical wonders designed by the engineers of Ferrari. There are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants here. The Yas Marina Circuit is Abu Dhabi’s second best attraction and is very popular among Grand Prix lovers. This 3.5 mile track is one of the two Formula One tracks in Middle East. Popular events organized here are the GP2 Asia Series, Yas V8 400 and the V8 Supercar series. It is located on the serene Yas Island, a 30 minutes drive away from Abu Dhabi. It spans a huge area of 16 hectares and can accommodate 41,093 people. The track is just beside the famous Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel, and also has many restaurants inside serving tasty food.

3, Sheik Zayed Mosque:
It is the most important place of worship in Abu Dhabi. It perfectly mixes the ancient architectural splendor with modern values of art. Being the eight largest mosque in the world, it can house a maximum capacity of 40,000 worshipers during Eid prayers. It also has the world’s largest carpet which measures 60,570 sq.ft. All the 96 columns in the main prayer hall are made of milky white marble and inlaid with mother of pearl. Very few mosques in the world are built with such great architecture. It is equally famous among the locals and the tourists.

4, Emirates Palace:
Emirates Palace, a seven star luxury hotel, is one of the best and costliest places to stay in Abu Dhabi. Its location on a 1.3 km wide private beach and the surrounding gardens that span 85 acres are a treat to watch for the tourists. From the airport, the hotel is just 40 minutes’ drive away. With 92 suites and 302 rooms, most having ocean view, the hotel stands as a symbol for luxury. Apart from the exclusive beach, it has plenty of swimming pools, soccer facilities, tennis courts, rugby and a cricket pitch.

5, Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital:
It is a welfare institution set up for the welfare of falcons, and is the first of its kind in the world. Since its opening in October 1999, the hospital has saved the life of many birds. It has rooms for treating over 200 birds at a time. More than 6,000 birds are treated here every year.
