This trail runs along Cape Breton and is one of the best road trips for golf enthusiasts. Along the path are six of the highest-rated golf courses in the country with more courses being opened every few years. In addition to golfing, Cabot Trail offers a slew of outdoor activities including scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, and more.

5. The Eastern Townships

About an hour and a half east of Montreal, the Eastern Townships are home to a rich variety of getaways, many designed for couples and newlyweds. The backdrop of the Eastern Townships is acres of wineries and farms, many of which have been converted into hotels as well.
