There are still a lot of things that people do not know about Prague, one of the larger cities of Central Europe that has served as the capital of the historic region of Bohemia for centuries. When traveling Prague, don’t forget to look up the Prague Castle which is the biggest castle all over the world nor the Golden Lane situated on its walls.
See the oldest bridge in the world, the Charles Bridge over the Vitava River; and the Old Town Square which is located among Tyn church, St. Nichola’s church and the Old Town Hall with its Astronomical Clock that plays a very short but interesting performance.
Also, visit St. Vitus Cathedral, the Vysehrad Castle, the Petrin Tower, Wenceslas Square, Prague Zoo and the Troja Chateau. There is also the Jewish Quarter where the Jewish cemetery and Old New Synagogue are located. Legend has it that the foundations of the Old New Synagogue, the oldest in Europe, came from King Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem.
