Right next door to Carnegie Hall, the Tea Room became an exclusive enclave where politicians plotted, businessmen planned their next deals, and actors and writers feted their friends’ latest performances. The Tea Room can be seen in scenes from films such as ‘Manhattan’, ‘Tootsie’, and ‘New York Stories’.
